Bilingual Storytime fosters a love of reading and celebrates the languages, culture and rich diversity that makes Palmerston unique.

The City of Palmerston Library will be bringing you Bilingual Storytime on Thursday 20 June, from 10.00am.

This session will offer stories and songs in both English and Italian hosted by library staff alongside Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro in a friendly, supportive environment.

This Bilingual Storytime is in support of Refugee Week, an annual celebration, informing the public about refugees and celebrating their contributions. 

Story Structure Workshop with Sean Guy

Join aclaimed Territory author and playwright Sean Guy on a journey into the world of storytelling. As a recipient of the Young Territroy Author Award, Sean knows first hand what it takes to unleash your creatvie potential.

Sean will share his tips and techniques to help you craft compelling narratives that will captivate readers and spark your imagination. He will also give insights into his own work, drawing from his four published novels and award-winning play. Sharing his experiences Sean will give you an overview of the intricacies of creating engaging characters, building immersive worlds, crafting compelling plots and developing a writing practice.
