The City of Palmerston is serviced by a number of bus services facilitated by the Northern Territory Government, including services to schools and some free events services.

Palmerston hospital shuttle service
In addition to the public bus service, the City is also serviced by a free door to door service for seniors and mobility impaired Palmerston residents. Phone 1300 978 995 to book this service.
At the time of booking, you will be required to provide the following information:
- Your Name
- Pickup location
- Drop off location
- Appointment time
- Appointment number; or hospital registration number; or in the case of a doctor's visit, the doctor’s name.
- If wheelchair transport is required
Please note: The shuttle bus has limited seats and bookings are subject to availability (24 hour prior notice recommended).
Door to door services operate to and from the above medical facilities three times per day Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays.
To be eligible, passengers must be the holder of a current NT Government Pensioner and Carer Concession Card, NT Government Seniors Card, Vision Impaired Travellers Pass or have a disability preventing them from using the regular bus services.
