Council is excited to extend our 'free facility hire' initiative for Not For Profit groups until June 2025. With Private Use/Parties/Business/Government use to be charged as per City of Palmerston's published Fees and Charges.
An ideal location for children, Driver Resource Centre consists of a central open space with a separate kitchen and bathroom facilities with children's toilets.
With an enclosed rear grass area, kids are free to explore the outdoors, while the interior is suitable for meetings for groups of all ages as well as for activities for kids. This facility is not suitable for parties.
Location: 29 Driver Avenue, Driver.
Christmas Closures:
All City of Palmerston facilities will close at 12pm on Tuesday December 24 and reopen on Thursday January 2, 2024 .
This will result in closures from 12pm on December 24 at the following offices and venues:
• Civic Plaza
• Recreation Centre
• Library
• Operations Centre
• Gray Community Hall
• Durack Community Arts Centre
• Driver Resource Centre.
Essential services such as kerbside waste collection, animal management, the Archer Waste Facility, and access to SWELL will remain in operation during these periods.
