City of Palmerston adheres to the Northern Territory Government guidelines minimum distance of 1.5m and maximum number of people at any one time. Council will require a copy of your COVID-19 Safety Plan checklist which you can apply for here.
City of Palmerston has a number of open spaces available to hire. Some locations have a variety of amenities such as BBQs, shade structures, power and water sources.
Marlow Lagoon, Sanctuary Lakes and Goyder Square also have exeloos available to the public.
Customer vehicle access will not be permitted during the wet season (1 November to 30 April).

Consumption of Alcohol
For all parties and functions where alcohol will be consumed, a completed application form requesting permission to consume alcohol on Council's property and a copy and a copy of the approved party smart registration form must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The written application must outline the date, time, venue and number of people attending the event, plus the breakdown of alcohol that will be consumed during this time.
Permission of the Council may be granted once approval of a gazette notice (costs presently being incurred by Council) has been received from the Northern Territory Government.

PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with the new Liquor Act 2019, section 171, a person must not consume liquor in any public place in Palmerston without permission from the owner occupier of the public place.
