Palmerston has a rapidly growing reputation as a place where arts and culture are recognised as a valuable part of our vibrant and diverse community.
We believe art contributes significantly to our uniqueness and well-being while influencing our economic prosperity through the creation of tourism opportunities.
Council delivers a number of annual events and projects that enables people living, working or visiting our city to experience and participate in the arts.
We also offer support to local artists, artist groups and organisations through direct funding or in kind support to enable creative outcomes in support of our Council Plan.
