If your dog is missing, it may have been picked up and taken to the pound. If you think your dog is in the pound, phone Council on (08) 8935 9977 during business hours. You can also email us.
Pound release times are Monday to Sunday by prearranged appointment.
Please note: breeds listed below should be used only as a guideline, please make sure you check the photo.
Owners should ensure they pay their registration costs and any other charges over the phone to Council on (08) 8935 9922 prior to arriving at the pound.
If you find a dog within the municipality of Palmerston, contact Council on (08) 8935 9977. All lost dogs should be reported to Council immediately.
If your dog is not shown here, please try the RSPCA on (08) 8984 3795, local vets or the Top End Lost and Found site.
During times of the year where Council has a shutdown period (Easter and Christmas), rangers will be on call only for emergencies only and pound collections can be made by appointment. Please call the main Council number (08) 8935 9922 and listen carefully to the voice prompts.
