The Driver Resource Centre, originally built in the 1980s as a childcare facility next to Driver Primary School, is no longer suitable for the community’s current and future needs. Council is planning a redevelopment of the site to ensure it better serves the local community. The new facility is now known as the Driver Community Centre.

The Archer Waste Management Facility (AWMF) is being upgraded. To maximise recycling participation, improve safety and enable separation and recovery of recyclable waste streams.

This technology is a first of it's kind in Australia, recording data on high usage areas in Palmerston and beyond. 

Stage one of the Zuccoli Community Hub is complete. Focus on Stage two has commenced, with works anticipated to begin in 2024 Dry Season.
