Overview
The Archer Waste Management Facility (AWMF) is being upgraded to make recycling easier, improve safety, and enable Council to separate and recover more recyclable materials.
Recycling area:
A new recycling area will be located near the site’s entry and will include a cardboard compactor. The updated entry design aims to create a more welcoming space and encourage greater participation in recycling, in line with City of Palmerston’s Sustainability Strategy.
Important information:
During the upgrade phase, there may be disruptions to regular disposal areas. Council will work to minimise impacts on visitors during this time. Once the upgrade is finalised, further information will be provided.
