City of Palmerston is redeveloping the Palmerston Swimming and Fitness Centre into a Swimming, Wellness, Events, Leisure and Lifestyle precinct for the entire community to enjoy.
Hobart Park Ninja Obstacle Park Render
City of Palmerston is constructing a Ninja Obstacle Course in Hobart Park. The course will include 8 elements under a shaded space.

The Northern Territory Government has announced the expansion of the boundary of the City of Palmerston, to include unincorporated land to the north of Palmerston, including Wishart Business Precinct and Northcrest.
Marlow Lagoon Dog Park Improvements
Following community feedback, City of Palmerston developed a Concept Plan for potential improvements to the Marlow Lagoon Dog Park. 
As of April 2021, the City of Palmerston has developed a final plan incorporating Stage 1 Work inclusions (see in images below).
