We have over 60 parks and play spaces, offering opportunities to play, socialise, and stay active outdoors, including 3 dog parks.
They feature a variety of play and recreation equipment and amenities. Whether you're looking for a peaceful spot to relax, a safe place for your children to play, or a scenic trail for a brisk walk, Palmerston's parks provide the perfect setting for all your outdoor activities.
Play Spaces Under Construction
Several of our Play Spaces are due for a facelift in the 2025/26 Financial Year.
- Upcoming playground upgrades at Joan Fejo Park are scheduled to begin in mid- April 2026. Works include the replacement of the climbing net and outdated exercise equipment.
- A new shaded all abilities swing will be installed at President Park in Driver. Works are to commence early April 2026 and will be open to the community by end of June 2026.
- The sand soft fall at the Flinders Park Playground is currently being replaced. The playground will remain closed to the community while this work is completed. It is expected to reopen in early May 2026.
