The purpose of the Palmerston Safety Network is to facilitate collaboration, information sharing and consultation between community members, organisations, and key stakeholders to support community safety across Palmerston.
The Network provides the Advisory Committee with feedback, local insights, and emerging issues to inform advice and recommendations to Council.
Council encourages community members of all ages, abilities, genders, and cultural backgrounds to participate. Members are expected to have a genuine interest in community safety, represent the broader community interest, and work respectfully and collaboratively with others.
Meeting details are shared in advance through Council communication channels, including social media and local advertising.
