Important information

Pound release times are by appointment only. Breeds listed below should be used as a guideline only. Outstanding registration costs, and any other applicable charges, can be paid over the phone on (08) 8935 9922 prior to arriving at the pound.

If your pet is missing, it may have been picked up and taken to the pound. If you think your pet may be in the pound, or if you find a dog or cat 'uncontained' in Palmerston, phone us immediately at the pound.

During times of the year when there is a shutdown period (Easter and Christmas), our rangers will be on call only for emergencies and pound collections can be made by appointment. Please call our main office number and listen carefully to the voice prompts.
