Council is investing in renewing playgrounds, park furniture and other infrastructure across Palmerston’s 60+ parks and play spaces.
In 2025/26, $650,000 has been allocated to the program, with an additional $600,000 grant secured for Woodroffe Park.
Planned works include:
Joan Fejo Park, Rosebery: Renewing play and exercise equipment (2025)
Ambon Park, Durack: Drainage improvements and new playground softfall (2025)
President Park, Driver: New play equipment (2025)
Woodroffe Park, Woodroffe: Upgrading play equipment and facilities (timing to be confirmed)
