The Palmerston Library offers a wide variety of services from printing needs to Justice of the Peace services.

Home services

Being housebound for any reason can be a hard time for anyone, at any age. Sometimes a friendly face and a good book can make all the difference.

The Home Library Service provides library materials to Palmerston residents who are unable to access the library. Our network of dedicated volunteers and staff select, deliver and return library materials on behalf of a home library borrower.

Offering short or long term solutions, this service meets individual needs while providing valuable social contact.

The charge bar is available to recharge your mobile devices. Bring your mobile phone or tablet to the library and access this service at no cost.

Mobile printing

Print from any device in any location with the mobile printing service.

Click here to get started or to access the service on a smart device, simply download the free PrinterOn app.

Powered by PrinterOn, the mobile printing service enables users to access printing facilities remotely. Simply upload your document, send for printing and collect from the City of Palmerston Library.

3D printer

Create your own physical object from a digital model. You can create your own prints using 3D modelling or use a computer aided design program to create your digital model.

To have your model printed, come into the library with your files saved on a USB clearly marked with your name and contact phone number and our 'gizmo and gadget guru' will bring it to life. Please ensure all prints are 10cm x10cm or small.

If you are interested in seeing the printer in action, drop into our Gadget and Games session held every Tuesday at 3.30pm.

Printing and scanning

The library offers a range of administrative services available to the whole community. These services includes printing from the library computers, photocopying, scanning, binding, laminating and faxing. The library's printing facilities also includes a mobile printing service where printing can be sent directly to the library from any location.

Justice of the Peace

Justice of the Peace services are available at the City of Palmerston Library every:
