Being housebound for any reason can be a hard time for anyone, at any age. Sometimes a friendly face and a good book can make all the difference.
The Home Library Service provides materials to Palmerston residents who are unable to access the Library. Our network of dedicated volunteers and staff select, deliver and return library materials on behalf of a home Library borrower.
Offering short or long term solutions, this service meets individual needs while providing valuable social contact.

Community members can access the public PCs for up to 1 hour per day free of charge.
Free wireless internet access is operating at the Library and Goyder Square 24 hours a day. The service is available to everyone. Connect to the City of Palmerston WiFi and sign-in as directed.
The charge bar is available to recharge your mobile devices. Bring your mobile phone or tablet to the library and access this service at no cost.

EnvisionWare Mobile Printing powered by Princh, the printing service enables users to access printing facilities remotely. Simply upload your document, send for printing and collect from the City of Palmerston Library.

Want to update your resume, but you don’t know where to start?Join us for computer literacy, where a library staff member are only too happy to assist and teach some tricks of the trade for the online world.
Don’t have a computer? No worries! We can provide the computer or iPad, or bring your own.

The Library offers a range of administrative services available to the whole community. These services includes printing from the Library computers, photocopying, scanning, laminating and faxing.
The Library's printing facilities also include a mobile printing service where printing can be sent directly to the library from any location.
- Justice of the Peace

Justice of the Peace services are available at the City of Palmerston Library
Every Wednesday, 9.00am- 1.00pm. Every Friday, 10.30am - 2.00pm.A Justice of the Peace (JP) is authorised to witness and attest many documents, such as statutory declarations, wills, affidavits, power of attorney, guardianship documents and certification of authenticity for copies of legal documents.
This free service is a collaboration between library staff and JP volunteers. Bookings are not required although it is recommended that you call ahead to check if the JP is in and any change in service is at the discretion of the JP in attendance.
