The library provides loads of opportunities to bring the community together through a variety of programs. We offer a diverse range of programs for all ages. From coding to school holiday fun, and English speaking lessons, there is something for everyone at the Palmerston Library.

Code Club is about fun, creativity and learning through exploring.

๐Ÿ“… Takes place in the library on Saturdays from 10am-1pm. 

This is a nationwide network of free, volunteer-led activities for children aged 9-12 years.

Learning to read can be fun, especially in the Frillies Club. 

Perfect for pre-schoolers to Grade 6, new members receive a Frillies Club pack which includes a bookmark, activity booklet and your very own logbook to mark down how many books you read. 

There are monthly prize draws for kids that read 5 books per month.

Gadgets and Games is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) inspired program where children aged 5-14 years can explore and create using robots, electronics, gaming devices, Roblox, puzzles and/or board games while unwinding and connecting with others.

๐Ÿ“…Meet up on Tuesdays at 3:30-4:30pm at the library.

No bookings required, just turn up. 

Get your gaming on! Play computer games or table top gaming such as Dungeons and Dragons and connect with like-minded teens. A place for all things Anime and Manga! For ages 12-19 years. 

๐Ÿ“… Head to the library on Thursdays from 3:30pm-4:30pm.

The Information Hub at the library offers a space for not-for-profit organisations, government departments, and other groups or clubs to set up and promote their services and activities to the public. Representatives will also be available to answer any questions.

The information hub sessions are scheduled for Thursday afternoons from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, though some organisations may choose alternative days or times if Thursdays are not suitable.
