The Northern Territory Government administers planning in the Northern Territory.

The Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics manages the planning and development framework incorporating the Planning Act, the Planning Scheme and the Development Consent Authority.

The Development Consent Authority determines development applications. Council provides comments for consideration to the Development Consent Authority regarding local development applications.

Whilst Council is not directly responsible for any planning in our municipality, we can provide information to assist you with the process.
