Emerging Youth Artist - Opportunity

City of Palmerston is excited to offer three emerging artists the opportunity to be mentored by local street artist Shaun Lee aka Hafleg.

Participants will explore and learn mural techniques, which will be used to ‘live’ paint at this year ‘Youth Week’ community celebration in the Palmerston CBD.

Our Street Art program offers emerging artists a unique opportunity to work alongside professional artists in a safe, collaborative space where individual diversity and artistic development are encouraged through street art.

This is a seven-week program and you must be able to attend all sessions to apply.

Criteria to apply

Age: Participants must be aged 17 to 25 years old.
Experience: Participants must be at an emerging level, with a focus on painting.
Location: Participants must live in Palmerston, Darwin or Rural and able to travel to Palmerston for the six-weeks of the program.

If you wish to apply please ensure you meet the criteria and are available for all sessions listed below.
