Palmy's Got Talent Workshops
Palmy's Got Talent is day 5 of Palmerston Youth Festival and is a competition that provides the opportunity for performers of all kinds (aged between 10 and 25) to perform in front of an audience. More information on the event is yet to come, including prizes. These workshops are to help build confidence to perform at the event.
Are you aged between 10 and 25 and feeling nervous but eager to shine? This workshop series is perfect for you! Our four tailored sessions are designed to boost your confidence leading up to Palmy's Got Talent. Led by dedicated professionals, you'll learn invaluable tips and tricks to excel in your chosen performance.
With only 15 spots available per session, don't miss out on:
- Workshop 1: Stand-up Comedy: Saturday, 18 May, 12pm – 2pm
- Workshop 2: Dance: Saturday, 18 May, 3pm – 5pm
- Workshop 3: Music (instrumentalists welcome!): Saturday, 25 May, 12pm – 2pm
- Workshop 4: Cabaret/Drag/Performance: Saturday, 25 May, 3pm – 5pm
All workshops will be held at Palmerston Recreation Centre and you may only register for one workshop.
Attendance at the workshops isn't mandatory for entering Palmy's Got Talent (10 July), nor are you obligated to compete if you attend.
Registrations for Palmy's Got Talent competition will open 27 May, keep your eyes peeled for this!
