The Palmerston Recreation Centre is conveniently located in the city centre, adjacent to the Palmerston Library and Goyder Square (11 the Boulevard, Palmerston City).
It has two large community rooms (including lighting and air-conditioning) and two stadium courts (with or without lighting and air-conditioning) available to hire daily from 6.00am to 10.45pm.

Bookings
Facilities at the Palmerston Recreation Centre are available to book online.
Facilities are free to hire for not for profits and private use (government and business rates as per 2023-24 Fees and Charges), with a refundable bond of $125.00 required for all bookings.
Bookings require 24 hour notice. Bookings cannot be made on a Friday or Saturday for that weekend.
For re-occurring bookings, contact the Centre on (08) 8935 9975 prior to completing an online booking to check the times and dates you require are available.
Consumption of Alcohol
For all parties and functions where alcohol will be consumed, a completed application form requesting permission to consume alcohol on Council's property and a copy and a copy of the approved party smart registration form must be submitted to palmerston@palmerston.nt.gov.au.
The written application must outline the date, time, venue and number of people attending the event, plus the breakdown of alcohol that will be consumed during this time.

PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with the new Liquor Act 2019, section 171, a person must not consume liquor in any public place in Palmerston without permission from the owner occupier of the public place.
