The Community BBQ Trailer is free and available for use by members of the community, local organisations and groups to support activities and programs that directly benefit residents of the City of Palmerston.
All events and activities must be held within the City of Palmerston municipality.

Building better neighbourhood's program
The program, through the Community BBQ, will create an opportunity for members of the community and community groups to build better relationships with the people who live around us, strengthening our community through social interaction.
Council is committed to the principle that all members of the community have access to activities and events that contribute to:
- strengthening communities and building better relationships with the people who live around us through social interaction
- creating safer, healthier and more vibrant suburbs and parks
- promoting tolerance, respect and understanding
- breaking down community barriers
- the protection of the elderly, vulnerable and disadvantaged
