Creative Business 101 will cover:

• Who are you as an artist: Creating your artist bio, website, social media and the elevator pitch
• Money Story - From getting your ABN, to recording your invoices and knowing how to price your work
• Grants and tenders 101 - Everything from applying, through to acquittals including contracts and insurance
• Community connect - Meet other artists and potential future clients and test out your newly honed skills

This is a two part workshop so please come to both days.

Britt Guy is a producer, curator, community arts and youth worker with a track record of working across agencies both nationally and internationally. Her experience includes roles within not-for- profit organisations, festivals and events and local government. Within this she has established and built programs and festivals investing in the work and development of artists and their creative practices while creating high quality creative community programming.
