This Cappella Choir workshop is open to adults in Palmerston who are interested singing. It will cover learning voice harmonies, singing as part of a group and the opportunity to be part of a performance at the end. The objective is to sing together for the joy of it.

What to expect:

Week One:  Finding your voice. Simple call and echo through African songs. Djembe for effect, body percussion, sounds, getting to know each other. Presentation and performance techniques.  

Week Two: Reading music and harmony work.

Week Three:  Reading music and harmony work continued. 

Week Four: Reading music, two-part harmony, finding your pitch. Develop repertoire and focus.

Weeks Five and Six: Practice and performance.
