City of Palmerston’s annual Pre-cyclone clean up will begin on Monday, 15 September 2025, helping residents prepare their homes and neighbourhoods ahead of cyclone season.

The clean-up is divided into four (4) zones just like the bin collections, with collection beginning each Monday and continuing until the zone is complete. Residents are to place their items neatly on the verge the weekend before their zone’s scheduled collection date.

Collection schedule:

Zone 1 – Marlow Lagoon, Driver and Moulden
Collection starts Monday, 15 September

Zone 2 – Bellamack, Rosebery, Woodroffe and Bakewell
Collection starts Monday, 22 September

Zone 3 – Gray, Gunn, Palmerston CBD and Durack
Collection starts Monday, 29 September

Zone 4 – Johnston, Zuccoli and Farrar
Collection starts Monday, 6 October

To assist crews, residents are encouraged to group similar items together. Those needing help moving unwanted items to the kerb can contact Council at least one week before their collection date to arrange assistance.

Progress in each suburb can be tracked live through the interactive collection map on Council’s website.
