Get creative in this hands-on screen-printing workshop with local artist Jocelyn Tribe.
Whether you are completely new to printmaking or looking to build on existing skills, this workshop offers a welcoming and supportive environment to explore the screen-printing process from concept to finished design.
With years of experience in printmaking, Jocelyn will guide participants through planning and sketching a design, preparing artwork for screen printing, exposing screens and experimenting with a range of printing techniques.
Participants are encouraged to bring ideas for a black and white design to print onto their own t shirt or item of clothing. Please bring your own t-shirts to print on. A complimentary tote bag will also be provided.
What to bring
• Clothes you do not mind getting ink on, or an apron
• A t-shirt or fabric item to print on
• Water bottle and lunch or snacks (tea and coffee provided)
This workshop is free and open to participants aged 14 years and over. The session is inclusive and welcoming for people of all abilities.
