Following community feedback highlighting the need for improved amenities and more inclusive play opportunities, we’re planning to refurbish Woodroffe Park to create a more enjoyable and inclusive space for everyone.

Concept plans have been developed by a landscape architect, drawing on input from residents and earlier feedback from the nearby school.

These plans aim to reflect the community’s ideas and priorities while enhancing the park’s overall usability and appeal.

What’s proposed

The concept plan proposes the following upgrades:
•    Installation of rubber soft fall and shade for the existing playgrounds (new)
•    Construction of a new shaded picnic area with seating, food preparation benches, and outdoor sinks (new)
•    Installation of a zip line play area (new)
•    Refurbishment of the existing bike track (upgrade)

This project is a refurbishment, upgrading key elements while retaining the park’s much loved character.
