We have a range of community facilities and equipment available for hire, perfect for your next event, meeting, art workshop or sporting activity.
From 1 January 2027, fees and charges will apply to all facility and venue hire. Not-for-profit and community organisations will receive a 50% discount on the full hire fee.
Community groups can apply for free facility and venue hire if they meet all four of the following criteria:
- The group is open and accessible to anyone who wishes to participate.
- Activities are delivered by volunteers, with no paid staff or contractors.
- The group has an annual revenue of less than $25,000.
- The group does not charge membership or program fees.
A refundable deposit is required for each venue hire. Please refer to individual facility descriptions for deposit requirements and further information.

For all parties and functions where alcohol will be consumed, a completed Alcohol Application Form requesting permission to consume alcohol on Council's property and a copy of the approved party smart registration form must be submitted to bookings@palmerston.nt.gov.au
The written application must outline the date, time, venue and number of people attending the event, as well as the breakdown of alcohol that will be consumed.

Please note: In accordance with the new Liquor Act 2019, section 171, a person must not consume liquor in any public place in Palmerston without permission from the owner occupier of the public place.
