City of Palmerston welcomes the Northern Territory Government’s $54 million investment to establish a new fire station and develop the next stage of the Zuccoli Primary School in Palmerston.
City of Palmerston Mayor Athina Pascoe-Bell has commended the Government’s announcement to fast track these two projects and was sure Palmerston residents would be delighted with the news.
“Palmerston is the fastest growing city in the Territory, it’s fantastic to see the Northern Territory Government focusing on this growth and investing in Palmerston facilities which will provide significant short- and long-term benefits to our community,” Mayor Pascoe-Bell said.
These developments, combined with Council’s recently released Pr6ject, which outlines initiatives and projects Council is proposing to support our region’s future growth, will stimulate the economy by creating local jobs and improve the city’s liveability by building our infrastructure.
“These projects provide economic and employment opportunities for our city. We believe these developments will be well-received and thank the Northern Territory Government for their ongoing commitment to Palmerston. We look forward to the development of both facilities,” Mayor Pascoe-Bell added.
