Palmerston Youth Festival is back for 2025 and set to be bigger, bolder and more exciting than ever. Now in its sixth year, the week-long festival will run from 5 to 11 July, bringing a huge lineup of free events and activities to young people and families.
In 2024, more than 7,000 people joined in the celebrations. This year the festival is raising the bar, returning with crowd favourites and introducing brand new experiences to inspire, connect and celebrate the creativity of our youth.
Kicking off the festival is two-days of fan-favourite, Geekfest Top End, the Territory’s longest-running comic con and pop culture celebration. This will be followed by a packed program including the much-loved NAIDOC Pool Party, Pamper Palmy and Sportsfest.
A brand-new event, Creative Collective, will ignite imaginations with hands-on workshops designed to get young people creating, learning and collaborating. The festival will wrap up with the popular Palmy’s Got Talent, showcasing some of the incredible local talent we have right here in our community.
There is over $15,000 in prizes and giveaways across the week. Several competitions require preregistration, with entries closing throughout June, with young people encouraged to sign up early to avoid missing out.
Festival Program:
