Pets make great companions; they encourage us to stay active and can improve our wellbeing.

If you are living in the Palmerston municipality, it is a requirement to register your dog each year. Currently, cats are not required to be registered however, Council recommends microchipping so you can ensure if your cat is found he or she can be returned quickly and safely.
