SWELL, Palmerston's Swimming, Wellness, Events, Leisure and Lifestyle precinct, is set to be the coolest spot with Australia's first-of-its-kind Adventure Play. This two-storey aquatic course promises a fun experience, where participants are harnessed in to navigate through obstacles, while waiting friends and family can add a splash of excitement by spraying them with water.

City of Palmerston and Belgravia Leisure, the centre operator, place safety at the forefront of this unique play space. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, team members have undergone training in safety protocols. As part of these measures, certain criteria must be met. Participants must be over 122cm tall, weigh under 136kgs, and a maximum of 15 people are allowed on the equipment at any given time.

"The safety of our community is of utmost importance. The Adventure Play is designed to provide a thrilling experience within a secure environment," explains City of Palmerston Mayor Athina Pascoe-Bell. "We are confident that the combination of excitement and safety measures will make this a must-do attraction in Palmerston for years to come."

To ensure everyone has a chance to experience the Adventure Play, community members are required to book their spots in advance. Bookings are now open, and time slots run for 45 minutes which includes a 15-minute safety briefing and harnessing. Times will be reflected in the app. Given the high demand, particularly for the grand opening, bookings are likely to be exhausted early. Reservations can be made through Belgravia Leisure's Active World app at http://www.swellpalmerston.com.au/venue/active-world. During the booking process, completion of a waiver is required, and individuals under 18 years old will need parental or guardian permission.

For those who miss out on the opening time slots, there's no need to worry. SWELL will remain open during the school holidays, and best of all, entry is free. The grand opening is Sunday 17 December, from 12pm to 9pm, promising a day of aquatic adventure, entertainment, and community fun.

Belgravia Leisure expresses their commitment to ensuring a seamless and safe experience for all participants, stating, "Our goal is to provide a space where the community can have fun, stay active, and create lasting memories. We are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of safety in all the facilities we manage," said Dan Cullen, State Manager QLD/NT.

Don't miss out on the excitement – book your spot now.
