The City of Palmerston, with the support of the Northern Territory Government are thrilled to announce the return of Palmerston Youth Festival this July.

The festival will host seven jam packed events and competitions that celebrate art, culture, sport, music, and more.

To mark the official opening of the festival, is the territories biggest geek culture celebration; Geekfest Top End. Wrapping up the week of fun will be Suburban Sounds; a free, all ages music concert.

This year’s incredible line-up features multi-award-winning Electric Fields as the headline, supported by dance music queen, Tigerlily and local stars, J-MILLA & Yung Milla.

“I’m rapt to have been asked to head back to Palmerston and be the ambassador for the Palmerston Youth Festival for 2021. I hope you all get the chance to come along and check it out!” J-MILLA shared.

City of Palmerston Mayor, Athina Pascoe-Bell invites the Top End community to join us for the week-long celebration.

“We are beyond excited to bring back the Palmerston Youth Festival this year, after it was dearly missed in 2020. From Goyder Square, to the Water Park, to Event Cinemas, we are activating Palmerston for the week to celebrate all things youth.”

“Coming back bigger and better, the week will be 7 days of events and multiple competitions. There are some incredible prizes up for grabs, including scholarships with Charles Darwin University, Territory Tourism vouchers and cash prizes.” she said.

The festival will run from 10 to 16 July, coinciding with the July school holidays.
