Motorsport fans are in for an exciting evening when Supercars in the Square arrives in Palmerston on Wednesday, 17 June.


Delivered by City of Palmerston, the free community event will transform Goyder Square into a hub of motorsport excitement from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.


Attendees can enjoy live music, food vendors and a range of vehicle displays, while experiencing the excitement of the Supercars convoy as it travels through Palmerston at approximately 6pm.


Palmerston Mayor Athina Pascoe-Bell said the event was a fantastic opportunity for the community to experience the excitement of motorsport right here in Palmerston.


“Supercars in the Square will bring the energy and excitement of motorsport to Palmerston, creating a unique experience for residents and visitors alike,” Mayor Pascoe-Bell said.


“This free event is a great opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy a fun evening out and get up close to some incredible vehicles.”


“We encourage everyone to come down to Goyder Square, enjoy the entertainment and displays and experience the excitement as the Supercars convoy travels through Palmerston.”


Attendees can expect monster trucks, a Hot Wheels drift car display and hot rod vehicles.


Those attending will also have the chance to win one of two double passes to the Supercars event in Darwin.


With something for motorsport enthusiasts and families alike, Supercars in the Square promises to be a memorable evening for all ages.
