CITY OF PALMERSTON APPOINTS INTERIM CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
City of Palmerston has appointed its Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Nadine Nilon, as Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) while Council undertakes a recruitment process to appoint a new CEO, following the departure of Andrew Walsh.
Mayor Athina Pascoe-Bell thanked Andrew for his contribution over the past 18 months, and said the appointment would ensure continuity of leadership and the ongoing delivery of services, projects and strategic priorities for the Palmerston community.
“Nadine brings significant local government experience and a strong understanding of the organisation, making her well placed to lead the organisation during this transition period," Mayor Pascoe-Bell said.
Council remains focused on delivering high-quality services, progressing key projects and implementing strategic priorities that support the growth and wellbeing of the Palmerston community.
