City of Palmerston are helping families and residents to stay cool this holiday season. Council will offer free entry fees into the Palmerston Swimming and Fitness Centre during the December/January school holidays. 

The Centre boasts a 50-metre sized swimming pool with eight lanes and a separate toddler pool, as well as plenty of shade, picnic tables, a kiosk providing refreshments, and free parking at the facility. The Palmerston pool will also host new and exciting programs during the school holidays, helping families stay active and entertained.

Free entry into the pool will be available from Friday 13 December 2019 to Monday 27 January 2020.  
•    Monday to Friday       5.30am – 7.00pm
•    Saturday                    8.00am – 7.00pm    
•    Sunday                      9.00am – 7.00pm    
   
Existing fees and charges will remain for access to other services at the Centre including the gym and special classes. 
Upgrades to the Palmerston Swimming and Fitness Centre, ‘Splashing Out’ is a key Major Project under Council’s Pr6jects, with significant refurbishments planned to ensure the continued provision of aquatic facilities to the community.
