Community Satisfaction Survey 2026

Each year, we conduct a Community Satisfaction Survey to understand how we're performing and identify opportunities to improve. The survey asks residents about a range of Council services and provides an opportunity to share what we're doing well and where we can do better.

Your feedback helps us understand what matters most to our community and informs how we plan, prioritise and deliver services, facilities and projects.

The survey is being conducted by Micromex Research through both telephone interviews and an online survey.

Telephone interviews will begin on Thursday, 9 July. Interviews may take place Monday to Friday between 3 pm and 8:30 pm, and Saturdays between 10 am and 4 pm.

Palmerston residents aged 18 years and over may be contacted through randomly generated local phone numbers. To ensure the results accurately reflect our community, responses are collected across key demographic groups. This means that after answering questions about your age, gender or suburb, the survey may end if your demographic group has already reached its required number of responses. If this happens, we encourage you to complete the online survey instead.

The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. We encourage all eligible residents to take part and share their feedback to help shape the future of Palmerston.

Consultation closes Friday, 17 July.
