The contract to design, supply, install and commission a solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) at the SWELL Palmerston Aquatic and Leisure Centre has been awarded to Eco Tech Electrical Pty Ltd for $539,000 including GST.

The project aims to reduce electricity costs, peak demand and emissions through an integrated renewable energy solution.

Key requirements include:

• Design and construct delivery of PV, BESS and energy management system (EMS)
• Integration with existing site electrical infrastructure while maintaining full facility operations
• Compliance with all relevant Australian standards and DNSP requirements
