International Mens Day

We've rallied our mates and we are holding a FREE International Men's Day (IMD) event at the Palmerston Recreation Centre.

Join us for a free BBQ breakfast, mens walk, irrigation workshop thanks to Power and Water and stallholders. This is a perfect time to come together to connect and celebrate the men and boys in our community. Prizes to give away. 

IMD  aims to celebrate the positive contributions of men and boys to society while raising awareness about men's health issues, gender equality and creating a safer world. The day also encourages positive male role models and promotes discussions about issues that disproportionately affect men, such as mental health, suicide rates and parental alienation. 2025 theme is “Supporting Men and Boys.”
