We are reviewing our network of local playgrounds to plan for future improvements.

We want to hear from our community about how you use your local playgrounds, which playgrounds matter most, and what features or upgrades you would like to see.

Palmerston currently has around 69 playgrounds. We’re exploring how we can better allocate resources to ensure residents have access to high-quality, and inclusive play spaces, within an easy walking distance.

This consultation will help us:

  • Understand how playgrounds are used across the city
  • Identify which playgrounds and features are most valued by the community
  • Gather ideas for future improvements
  • Ensure alignment with Palmerston’s long-term Play Space Strategy.
