Our Brekkie in the Park series offers community members the chance to connect with their local parks and helps promote healthy and active lifestyles.

Each brekkie provides a free breakfast and activities for all to enjoy.

Sunday 18 May
Gray Community Hall / Harvest Corner (cnr Essington Ave and Victoria Drive, Gray)
Brekkie provided by PaRBA.
Activities: face painting, Top End Critters, obstacle course and Palmerston Library Storytime. There will also be a native plant giveaway.

Sunday 15 June
Woodroffe Park, Woodroffe (cnr Sirius St and Woodroffe Ave)
Brekkie provided by PaRBA.
Activities: basketball, clay arts and craft, horse petting, a pilates session (bring your own yoga mat) and Storytime sessions. Chat to Neighbourhood Watch NT, STEPS, COOLmob and our Palmerston Library and Ranger teams. Coffee available to purchase. 

Sunday 20 July
Phyllis Uren Park, Farrar (Nutwood Cres and Farrar Blvd)
Brekkie provided by Palmerston Lions Club.
Activities: Face painting, arts and crafts, Healthy Living NTs mini mover obstacle course and Storytime sessions. Come along and chat with Neighbourhood Watch NT, STEPS, and our Palmerston Library and Ranger teams. Luva Cuppa will be giving away 100 FREE coffees, just bring your reusable cup and enjoy up to 8oz of coffee – a great way to celebrate Plastic-Free July. 

You can also take home something green with our native plant giveaway – two plants per person, while stocks last.

Stalwart Park, Johnston (between Stalwart St and Vendetta Cres)
Brekkie provided by Palmerston Lions Club.
Coffee available for purchase from Luva Cuppa.
Activities: Circus workshop and bubble fun with Tip Top Circus, Top End Critters encounters, light-impact exercise for seniors with Healthy Living NT, rainbow canvas art crafts and story time with Palmerston library 

Come along and chat with STEPS and Regulatory services.

All events run from 8am until 10am.

Remember a hat, sunscreen, extra water and a picnic blanket.

Pets (must be kept on a lead and under effective control at all times), scooters, skateboards and bikes all welcome.
