Important information
Pound release times are by appointment only. Breeds listed below should be used as a guideline only. Outstanding registration costs, and any other applicable charges, can be paid over the phone on (08) 8935 9922 prior to arriving at the pound.
An appointment must be made to collect your dog/cat by calling the pound on 0474 821 960.
You can collect your impounded dog/cat from the pound between 10am and 1pm Monday to Friday.
If your pet is missing, it may have been picked up and taken to the pound at 60 Georgina Crescent, Palmerston. If you think your pet may be in the pound, or if you find a dog or cat 'uncontained' in Palmerston, please contact council.
During times of the year when there is a shutdown period (Easter and Christmas), our rangers will be on call only for emergencies and pound collections can be made by appointment. Please call our main office number and listen carefully to the voice prompts.
