We’re proud to partner with STEPS to host our International Women’s Day 2026 Garden Party.

Join us as we come together to celebrate the women and girls in our community and reflect on this year’s theme, Balance the Scales. This theme highlights our shared commitment to ensuring every woman and girl, no matter her background or identity, is safe, heard and empowered to shape her own future.

This is a free, family-friendly and inclusive event welcoming people of all nationalities and abilities. We invite everyone in our community to come along, connect and celebrate together.

The event will be hosted by Wendy Burns, with short presentations from NAAJA and YWCA sharing insights into the important work they do to support women and families.

On the day, you can enjoy:

• Storytime thanks to our library
• Craft activities, including Indigenous crafts
• Live music by Kim Koole
• Multicultural dancing
• Lunch provided by STEPS

There will also be a range of information stalls including Neighbourhood Watch, Services Australia, Soccer NT, AFLNT, Breast Screening NT, YWCA and more.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family for a morning of celebration, connection and community spirit.
