City of Palmerston has completed the community consultation review process of its Animal Management By-laws so we can better cater to the needs of our growing community and to reflect contemporary legislative standards.

Feedback from the community will be used to develop guiding principles for the drafting of new animal management by-laws.

While the adoption of new animal management by-laws will take approximately 18 to 24 months (from the start of the process), City of Palmerston is committed to working with the community to identify desired changes and the efficient adoption of new by-laws.

Community consultation was open from 9 March and closed 8 May 2021.
