City of Palmerston is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to design, supply, install and commission a solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) at the SWELL Palmerston Aquatic and Leisure Centre. The project aims to reduce electricity costs, peak demand and emissions through an integrated renewable energy solution.

Key requirements include:

  • Design and construct delivery of PV, BESS and energy management system (EMS)
  • Integration with existing site electrical infrastructure while maintaining full facility operations
  • Compliance with all relevant Australian standards and DNSP requirements

A mandatory briefing / site inspection is being held on 07 May 2026, 9:00am ACST at SWELL Palmerston, 31 Tilston Ave, Moulden NT 0830.
