City of Palmerston is seeking a suitably experienced contractor to undertake waste collection across City of Palmerston Public Open Spaces. The contract will be Schedule of Rates for a period of 4 years.

Services required under the Contract will include but not limited to;

·         Empty, clean and sanitise public litter bins, receptacles and shrouds

·         Supply and replenish dog waste bags in dispensers

·         Report damage and graffiti of bin assets to Council

·         Transport general waste and recycling material to appropriate facility

·         Collect and dispose of animal carcasses

·         Supply and install new and replacement bins and steel locking posts

·         Regular reporting including services completed and waste collection tonnages

·         Audit and record bin condition on an annual basis

The contract for the Public Bin Litter collection has been awarded to VTG Waste & Recycling Pty Ltd at the schedule of rates for an estimated annual value of $319,642.40 including GST over a period of 4 years.
