How do I print something?
To print an object, you will first need a digital 3D model. There are many free 3D print files available online that you can download and use. Visit Thingiverse to explore thousands of ready-to-print designs.
Interested in creating your own design? TinkerCAD is a free, web-based 3D modelling program with easy-to-follow tutorials that are perfect for beginners.
To learn more about TinkerCAD and get started with designing your own models, visit the TinkerCAD website.
Once you have your file ready, complete the 3D Printing Request Form located at the bottom of this page to submit your print job.

- The library supplies the filament for all 3D printing. Please note that users cannot choose the filament type or colour.
- Maximum Print Size is 256 × 256 × 256 mm
- Your print is added to our printing list and has a two-week turnaround.
- If there are any issues with your print prior to printing, we will contact you to discuss options.
- Once print is completed, we will contact you to collect your print.
