Artist Opportunity: Woodroffe Park Bike Path Art

We’re inviting expressions of interest from local street, mural and paint-based artists to create a vibrant public artwork along the concrete bike paths at Woodroffe Park.

The selected artist will develop and deliver an original artwork inspired by the unique animals of the Northern Territory. The artwork will form part of the Woodroffe Park playground upgrades, helping create a welcoming, distinctive and engaging space for the community.

Who should apply?

• Local street, mural and paint-based artists with experience creating artwork for outdoor public spaces.
• Artists who can demonstrate successful delivery of projects from concept through to installation and completion.
• Artists with appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance, and the capacity to meet safety, access and project delivery requirements.
• Artists living in the Palmerston municipality are strongly encouraged to apply.

The project has a budget of $9,500 + GST, with artwork to be completed by 31 October 2026.

Artist Opportunity: Palmerston Art Lanes

We’re inviting expressions of interest from local street, mural and paint-based artists to design and deliver vibrant public artwork across two laneways in Woodroffe and Gray.

These well-used laneways provide important connections for pedestrians, cyclists and other users. The project will transform the existing bitumen surfaces with bright, inspiring artwork that celebrates community, strengthens local pride and creates more welcoming connections between homes, shopping, schools and public transport.

Who should apply?

• Local street, mural and paint-based artists with experience creating artwork for outdoor public spaces.
• Artists who can demonstrate successful delivery of projects from concept through to installation and completion.
• Artists with appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance, and the capacity to meet safety, access and project delivery requirements.
• Artists living in the Palmerston municipality are strongly encouraged to apply.

Artists will have the opportunity to work with us on a delivery timeframe that suits their proposed approach, with the artwork expected to be completed by the end of May 2027.
