Celebrate culture, community and the next generation of deadly talent with our NAIDOC Celebration.

As part of this year’s NAIDOC Week theme, “50 Years of Deadly”, the event will bring Goyder Square to life with live music, cultural experiences, storytelling and hands-on activities celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and voices.

Headlining the celebration is proud Marranungu artist Yung Milla, known for his powerful storytelling, nationally recognised music and strong work supporting young people across the Northern Territory. Joining the stage is Palmerston’s own Riley P alongside Young Mob, showcasing emerging local performers and the strength of youth voices through music and performance.

Festivalgoers can also get involved in a range of free cultural workshops and activities, including weaving, clap stick making, dot painting, cultural cooking experiences and designing your own NAIDOC shirt.

Deadly: NAIDOC Celebration is an opportunity to connect, learn and celebrate culture in a welcoming community atmosphere right in the heart of Palmerston.
