The City of Palmerston is home to the Magpies Football Club at the Asbuild Sporting Complex, which is beside the CDU campus.

The complex includes two newly upgraded ovals, match quality lighting at the main oval, a new grandstand for 610 spectators, change rooms and amenities, interchange benches, coaches' boxes and scoreboard, extensive car parking and security fencing.
