Alfresco Dining Permits
Alfresco Dining allows for food business operators to utilise a part of Council's property to offer outdoor dining for their customers. These Permits will only be issued in accordance with Council's Outdoor Dining Policy. The Permit will allow licensed and non-licensed businesses to apply to use Council land to place tables, chairs and other furniture to extend the dining are of their business.
Do I need a Permit?
You are required to apply for a permit if the area outside of your premises is a public footpath, public space or other Council owned open space. Examples of this are the footpath out the front of your business, or the open space or park adjacent to your business.
If the land you are looking to offer outdoor dining on is privately owned, you are not required to apply for an Alfresco Dining Permit through Council.
Fees
There are no fees associated with the Alfresco Dining Permits.
