- The ‘First Splash’ competition is open to Palmerston residents only (entrants must be able to prove a Palmerston residential address through rates notice, utilities bill or drivers’ licence/or their parent or guardian)
- The selected 10 friends or family members who join the winner can be from other municipalities
- To enter, residents must have sign up to receive City of Palmerston newsletters at www.palmerston.nt.gov.au by midnight 17 November 2023.
- City of Palmerston employees and immediate family members are not eligible to enter
- Palmerston residents who have signed up before the 30 October to be eligible to win
- To go in the running for a SWELL merchandise pack, you must like City of Palmerston’s Facebook page and comment on the social media post about SWELL on 31 October about what youare looking forward to the most at SWELL.
- The competition will be open from 31 October, with winners announced on Wednesday 22 November.
- ‘First Splash’ winners will be drawn at random from the pool of people who have signed up to receive City of Palmerston newsletters before 17 November 2023.
- ‘Merchandise pack’ winners will be selected at random from those who have commented on the SWELL Facebook post on 30 October and who also like City of Palmerston’s Facebook page.
- Winners must be available to claim the prize on a specified date and time determined by City of Palmerston, this will occur in December 2023 and is not exchangeable for another date. If the winner is not available for the specified, the prize will be redrawn.
- The ‘First Splash’ experience is for a duration of 3 hours on an afternoon specified by City of Palmerston and includes catered afternoon tea.
- Some elements of SWELL may not be accessible at the First Splash competition pending construction approval delays.
- ‘First Splash’ winners need to adhere to all safety rules implemented by Belgravia during the First Splash experience.
- To accept the ‘First Splash’ prize, winners must consent to being filmed and photographed during the ‘First Splash’ and the images and footage used by City of Palmerston and Belgravia for promotional purposes across digital and print marketing platforms
